Jean Lorchat

Director of Software as a Product, FORVIA

Since May 2024, Jean Lorchat has served as the Director of Software as a Product (SaaP) for Faurecia Clarion Electronics. In this position, he leads the entire lifecycle of software products, from ideation to market introduction, ensuring that innovative solutions meet the needs of the automotive industry.
Jean’s career in technology and management spans over a decade. He joined Faurecia IRYStec in 2017 as a Customer Success Technical Lead, where he brought his technical expertise to the sales process, driving the adoption of IRYStec's perceptual display platform. His leadership and vision led to grow within the ranks to Director of Product in 2020, where he was instrumental in integrating advanced perception and smart image processing solutions into automotive displays. In 2023, his contributions were further recognized when he was appointed General Manager, overseeing the strategic direction and operations of the company. Jean’s earlier career includes significant contributions at Lumiscaphe, where he began in 2014 as a Business Engineer, specializing in real-time photorealistic 3D rendering software and virtual reality systems integration. His success in this role led to his promotion to Vice President of Japan Operations in 2015, where he managed operations, sales, and customer projects in the Japanese market. Jean holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Strasbourg, France.
