Mr. Whitaker is a seasoned technology executive with over thirty years of experience in product management, marketing, and business development. He has an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and an MBA from UC Davis.
Todd started his career as a product manager at Intel and worked for three different start-ups at three different stages. Following his start-up years, Todd joined National Semiconductor and became the General Manager for the Advanced PC Division and the Display Division. Todd’s teams at National developed the #1 market share embedded controllers for laptops, the leading automotive infotainment interface as well as the first “ultra-thin” display controller for the original iPhone. Todd became National’s VP of Worldwide Marketing before leaving to become the first VP of Marketing for Maxim Integrated (acquired by Analog Devices).
Todd joined Immersion, the world’s leading developer and licensor of haptics intellectual property as their VP of Marketing and Product Management. Most recently, he was the Senior VP of Sales and Marketing for Inneos, a manufacturer of optical sub-assemblies and branded consumer devices for medical and consumer video applications. Todd retired in 2020 but came out of retirement to take his position with Boreas Technologies.
