When thinking about safety and comfort in vehicles, what role does lighting have? This presentation will explore how intuitive lighting in car HMI significantly enhances both comfort and safety for drivers and passengers. We will see how this technology integrates ambient, functional, dynamic, and feedback lighting systems that respond to various driving conditions and user interactions It will discuss how dynamic lighting adjusts to environmental changes, improving visibility and reducing driver fatigue, and how ambient lighting creates a soothing atmosphere, while functional lighting provides clear and immediate information. Feedback lighting offers instant confirmation of user actions, enhancing ease of use. Moreover, the safety enhancement through intuitive warning lights that quickly alert drivers to potential hazards will be highlighted. Customizable lighting settings that allow users to tailor their in-car environment, further enhancing comfort, will also be shown. By leveraging intuitive lighting, automotive designers can create a more engaging, user-friendly, and safer driving experience, meeting the growing demands for advanced vehicle technology.
